‘Art of Auditioning’ by Rob Decina

leave a comment

Several years ago I read a book I’d recommend called the ‘Art of Auditioning’ by Rob Decina.  Not because Rob is my father, but because it outlines a pretty straightforward and practical technique for television auditioning and had other useful tips as well that jived with my experience.  Is he always “right” or know everything? Of course not; like any other discipline there is no one magic book, but I’d put this one on the syllabus.  And it’s probably available through your local library system!
